A visit to Jal Mahal, Jaipur

A pretty long sunny drive from my friend's place, we drove through busy streets of the pink city. In sometime, we could feel the breeze got little colder, got a glimpe of Man sagar lake.
Jal Mahal could be spotted in the middle of the lake. I was little puzzled as why a man should built a mahal in middle of a lake, history says a numerous stories.
Finally got some info from internet.
They say, its a five storied structure with just one visible above the waters, Strange right?
I took a small break, had a tender coconut juice, fortunately and by surprise the vendor spoke my native language (tamil). He told us to wait till it gets dark as the Mahal will look beautiful when its lit.
It's worth a wait..
One thing is sure, all Kings have enjoyed a lot with queens(their's or others who bothers), but we just see their architectural marvel..
Chill !!

Delhi-Jaipur double decker

The journey to jaipur starts with this train, called " Delhi Jaipur double Decker"
This train is approx a 5h journey which starts from Delhi Sarai Raihalla station crossing three other station and finally reaches the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur the 'Pink City'.
Well, the intention of this journey is just to  spend a leisure time away from hectic office tug of war ;)

The concept of seating in this train is pretty amazing. When you sit in the lower deck, you might experience blood rushing fast over your body when your train halts in a station. Oh man y?
Well, don't ask me the reason, just think ;)

This train has got an announcement system which gives a glimpe of next station, distance and speed to plan our lineup to the doors.

It has got a pantry car too, so just take a bit, enjoy a movie in tab, hope to meet new people.
